The SIT Graduate Institute offers a wide range of MA programs in teacher education and international development.

Dates and location
Our course is offered over 3 months from
(Tentative Dates for 2011) February 17th - May 14th
Workshops on Saturdays (9am – 6pm) and teaching practice on Thursday evenings (6:00pm – 10:15pm).
*Note that the first weekend we have sessions on Saturday and Sunday
The course is held at Language Studies International in downtown Berkeley, just down the street from the BART station, making it convenient for the San Francisco Bay Area.
Tuition
$2,190 including all materials and fees.
We will begin accepting applications in June 2010 and encourage you to submit your application early as we generally have a waiting list.

The application process
Possible funding for the course
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept Pell Grants or Teach for America credits. However, if you have lost your job or are unemployed you may qualify for the WIA (Workforce Investment Act). Our course has been approved by the State of California as an Employment Training Provider (ETPL). You can either visit their website or contact Ellen Hosk-Edenfeld at Oakland Private Industry Council.
