The people behind Berkeley LTC

We're a small team of teacher trainers who believe great instruction starts with understanding how people actually learn.

Berkeley LTC was founded in 2006 by Josh Kurzweil and Jenn White, two teacher trainers who shared a conviction that professional development should be grounded in evidence, not guesswork. Since then, we've grown into a small, tightly-knit team that designs and delivers training for union programs, higher education faculty, K–12 schools, and language instructors — always returning to the same core question: what does the science of learning tell us about how to teach well?
